Program
The tour starts in Bash-Kayindy village (1.5–2 hours from Naryn).
You can reach Bash-Kayindy from Naryn by:
• Taxi (~2000 KGS one way per car — we can help arrange)
• Your own vehicle
• Hitchhiking (common in the region)
Day 1: Bash-Kayindy → Kaindy Gorge → Shar Waterfall
- 10:00 — Meeting & horse riding briefing
- Start of the horseback journey through scenic mountains, rivers, and alpine meadows
- Chance to see yaks, marmots, and rare alpine flowers
- 3–4 hour ride (~18 km) one way to Kamak-Suu Pass (3100 m)
- Stunning panoramic views of Shar Waterfall
- Picnic near the waterfall (vegetarian option available)
- Evening descent to “Shar” guesthouse
- Dinner and overnight stay (shared room, homestay)
Day 2: Bash-Kayindy → Naryn
- Breakfast in a beautiful garden
- Easy walk around the village
- Visit to the historical site “Chon-Dobo” (~1.5 hours easy trekking/walking)
- Transfer back to Naryn (not included)
