6-Day Nomadic Trails: Beyond the Beaten Path

Program

Day 1: Bash-Kayindy — Kamak-Suu Plateau — Shar Waterfall

Meeting and horse riding briefing. Ride through mountains, rivers, and alpine meadows, with chances to see yaks and marmots. 3–4 hour ascent (~18 km) to Kamak-Suu Plateau (3100 m) with views of Shar Waterfall. Picnic and photo stop. Evening descent to “Shar” guesthouse. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Sary-Tal

Breakfast in a garden. Transfer by car through four mountain villages, with a glimpse of local life where many still travel on horseback. Arrival in Sary-Tal. Lunch. Horse riding around the area. Dinner, campfire, and overnight in a yurt.

Day 3: Sary-Tal — Uzun-Bulak

Breakfast in a scenic location. Horseback ride through the Ak-Sai Valley. Crossing Kynda Pass (3398 m). Arrival at Uzun-Bulak by dinner time. Dinner and overnight in tents or a yurt.

Day 4: Uzun-Bulak — Chatyr-Tash

Breakfast in the Ak-Sai Valley. Ride across wide pastures with panoramic views and a chance to catch mobile signal. Dinner with traditional Kyrgyz dishes. Overnight in a yurt.

Day 5: Chatyr-Tash — Canyon — Kok-Kiya (Kel-Suu Lake).

Breakfast in the Ak-Sai Valley. Ride toward Kel-Suu Lake through vast pastures, with chances to see marmots, yaks, and horse herds, as well as unique rock formations. Descent into Kok-Kiya Valley. Arrival at Kel-Suu Lake. 1.5–2 hour walk around the lake. Return to Kok-Kiya guesthouse. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Kok-Kiya — Naryn.

Breakfast at the guesthouse. Farewell to the guides. Transfer back to Naryn.
